I have almost survived my first week at home not working. Monday was the WORST day by far! We'll just say that I don't sit still well and by the time Currey was home from work I was stir crazy. I'd been to the grocery store, done 3 loads of laundry, worked on a Junior League Project for 5 hours and made dinner. It was only 7 pm and I was going crazy. Thankfully Tuesday was a pretty full day with things to do, Wednesday was pretty slow but I tired to enjoy getting rest and yesterday I had plenty to keep me busy.
I talked with a friend, chatted with my mom, made cookies for youth group and a dinner for a friend. We had a great evening at youth group. There were a couple of kids left with our pastor and another dad. Everyone was heading out and Moose snapped at Gracie. No big fight, growling dogs or any drama. Gracie whimpered a bit but walked away. One of the kids said they thought they saw blood so I checked her face.
We also thought that Blythe would be joining us last night as well. The stress of the evening prompted contractions but once we found out that Gracie would be fine, they stopped. All and all an interesting evening. We are glad that she is safe and hope there is no more excitement in our home until sweet Blythe arrives!
